On Tuesday 30 May 2023, BPS Sibolga City held a Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) for the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023). The activity was held for half a day at Hotel Prima Indah, Jl. Brigadier General Katamso No. 45 A-B. BPS Sibolga City. The activity was attended by various Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), Dandim 0211/TT Representatives, Sibolga Police, Sub-District Heads and agricultural business actors in Sibolga City.
The purpose of this activity is to socialize ST2023 activities to stakeholders and business actors as respondents who will be enumerated in the ST2023 data collection. The activity started at 08:30 and was opened by the Mayor of Sibolga represented by the Regional Secretary of Sibolga City, M. Yusuf Batubara, SKM, MM. He conveyed the full support of the Mayor and encouraged the OPD, Camat and their staff to assist in the implementation of ST2023 in the field.
The implementation of ST2023 was also fully supported by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo at the ST2023 launch event at the State Palace on May 15 2023. The video supporting the President of the Republic of Indonesia, the Governor of North Sumatra and the Mayor of Sibolga was shown at this activity.
The presentation of the material was carried out by three speakers guided by the moderator, Ricky Tona, Head of PPM, Regional Planning and Development Agency for the City of Sibolga. The three informants consisted of the Head of the Sibolga City BPS, Sabar Alberto Harianja, the Tilapia-Lele nursery business actor, Jafar E. Naibaho, and the Head of the Fisheries Production Department of the Sibolga City Fisheries, Food Security and Agriculture Agency, Bangun Syahmuda Harahap.
At the end of the event, a quiz was held with questions related to the material presented by the speakers. The winners of the quiz were Muchlis Tanjung from the Farmers' Group and David Sinaga from the Sibolga City Police. The event was closed with a lunch session with all the attendees.
