On Friday (15/12/2023), at 10.20 WIT, the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sibolga City, Sabar Alberto Harianja and the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation Team (EPSS) held a meeting with the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Sibolga City, Drs. M. Yusuf Batubara, SKM. The Sibolga City BPS team was received in the Sibolga City Regional Secretary (Sekda) Work Room, accompanied by the Head of Bappeda and Sibolga City BPKAD. The Sibolga City BPS team who took part in this meeting were Rosmiana Hasibuan, Isna Zulhusna, Omy Wahyudi, Muhammad Alpian, and Leandro Pandapotan Marpaung. This meeting began with a brief opening by the Head of Sibolga City BPS, Sabar Alberto Harianja. The main objective of the meeting was to submit the Sibolga City EPSS Results Report for 2023. There were three recommendations submitted, namely: 1. Strengthening Data Guardians in coordinating sectoral statistical activities, 2. Providing a budget related to sectoral statistical activities and 3. Fulfillment of human resources who have functional competence statistics. This report is a follow-up to the EPSS Coordination Meeting held by Sibolga City BPS for several Sibolga City Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) on Tuesday (12/12/2023). EPSS is an assessment process carried out by BPS systematically through verification and validation of information on self-assessment results. The aim is to measure the level of maturity in implementing sectoral statistics. The results of EPSS are in the form of the Statistical Development Index (IPS). An indicator that reflects the level of maturity in implementing sectoral statistics in each government agency carrying out sectoral statistical activities. IPS is also presented according to certain domains and aspects. IPS is also one of the indicators for assessing General Bureaucratic Reform (RB) for all government agencies. IPS can be a measure in achieving the implementation of One Indonesian Data and the implementation of statistical affairs at the regional government level. In this meeting, the Head of BPS Sibolga City briefly explained the achievements of EPSS in Sibolga City. It is hoped that this report can improve the implementation of quality sectoral statistics. This activity can support the creation of quality, synergistic and sustainable One Indonesian Data in the Sibolga City area. By LPM
