The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is one of the important sources of employment data in Indonesia. This survey provides basic employment data on an ongoing basis. The main objective is to determine the level of employment opportunities, unemployment rates and the population included in the non-labor force category. Sakernas is carried out twice a year, namely in February and August. Sakernas data collection is carried out using the Computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) mode, namely using the FASIH application.

In Sibolga City, the implementation area of Sakernas August 2024 was carried out in 44 Census Blocks and household data collection was carried out on 435 households in all sub-districts. Data collection was carried out by 26 field officers, including 18 Field Data Collection Officers (PPL) and 8 Field Supervisory and Inspection Officers (PML).

The implementation of Sakernas August 2024 has been carried out since August 8, 2024 until August 31, 2024. It is hoped that all respondents in this data collection can accept officers and respond to the data collection well, so that the data produced is useful for Development, especially the employment sector in Indonesia.

To maintain the quality of data collection, PPL must follow the established SOP. And to ensure that the data collection has been carried out correctly, PML and Supervision routinely carry out supervision in the field. Horas, Oii Dusanak.
