BPS Sibolga Municipality Conducts 2024 Susenas Officer Training

BPS-Statistics of Sibolga conducted data collection for the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas). Before officers conducted data collection in the field, BPS-Statistics of Sibolga conducted officer training. The training was held on September 2-4, 2024, at the Prima Indah Hotel, Sibolga. The training was attended by 19 officers, consisting of 11 field officers, 6 supervisors, 1 instructor and 1 committee. This training aims to improve understanding of the concepts and definitions of each question, as well as the skills of officers in conducting surveys through interviews.

The September 2024 Susenas collects information related to expenditures to calculate poverty levels at the provincial and national levels. The data collected produces indicators of the poverty level in September 2024. In addition, it also collects information related to socio-culture and education. As the mother of surveys, this survey supports 2 (two) of the 7 (seven) priority development agendas of the 2020-2024 RPJMN, namely improving quality and competitive human resources and mental revolution and cultural development. The indicators produced from this survey include, Social Welfare Indicators, Cultural Indicators, and Education Support Indicators.

On the good occasion of the opening and closing, the Head of BPS-Statistics of Sibolga, Sabar Alberto Harianja reminded that data quality is the main goal. So that based on quality data, every policy taken by the central and regional governments is right on target. He also emphasized that officers follow every SOP that has been determined and pay attention to the schedule.
