Sectoral Statistics Coordination and Development Meeting of 2024

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sibolga City held the 2024 Sibolga City Sectoral Statistics Coordination and Development Meeting "Follow-up to the Results of the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) 2023 and Preparation for the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) 2024", at Cafee Lotus, Jl. Sutomo No. 25, Beringin City, Sibolga on March 6 2024.

This event was attended by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), the Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo), the Population and Civil Registry Service (Dukcapil) and the Sibolga City Health Service as well as the Sibolga City BPS Sectoral Statistics Implementation Team (PSS). The number of participants was 14 people and 1 committee member.

The event was opened by the Regional Secretary of Sibolga City represented by Plh. Assistant for Economics and Development (Assistant II) Drs. Juneidi Tanjung M.Pd. In his speech, it was stated that the Sibolga City Regional Secretary expressed his gratitude to the Sibolga City BPS for holding this Coordination Meeting and being the first step in implementing better sectoral statistical development in 2024.

There are 4 resource persons, Drs. Juneidi Tanjung represented the Sibolga City Regional Secretary, Sabar Alberto Harianja, Head of the Sibolga City BPS, Rosmiana Hasibuan as Chair of the Sibolga City PSS Team and Isnaini Zulhusna as Deputy Chair of the Sibolga City PSS Team. The four resource persons conveyed regarding the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (PSS) because it will be a component of the EPSS assessment, especially the implementation of statistics at the regional government level. It is hoped that the 2024 Sibolga City Government Statistical Development Index (IPS) score will receive a good title.

The meeting continued with a question and answer discussion which was communicative and interactive. At the end of the event, the Head of Sibolga City BPS emphasized that the implementation of Sectoral Statistics (PSS) carried out by each OPD must be in line with statistical business processes. PSS also fulfills the principles of One Data Indonesia (SDI) so as to produce quality statistical data that is useful for planning, monitoring and evaluating regional development and formulating policies. He also said that Sibolga City BPS is implementing the construction of an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM). Horas, Oii Dusanak.
