Friday (August 30, 2024), 09.00-13.30 WIB, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sibolga City carried out a Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) activity with several local government agencies at RM. Thamrin Sibolga. This activity is a continuation of the routine activity that was carried out in the previous month, Sebatik (One Hour Discussing Statistics). This activity was opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics of Sibolga, Sabar Alberto Harianja, who conveyed the importance of this activity in order to achieve the target of the Statistical Development Index (IPS) with a good category in 2025.

This activity is the second edition of Sebatik. There were three speakers, namely one from the Sibolga City Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) of Sibolga City and two from BPS Sibolga City. The speaker from Diskominfo, Rachmat Miranda provided material related to information and technology services. The speaker from BPS-Statistics of Sibolga was Wahyu Joko Mursalin who discussed infographics and graphic design principles in general while Leandro Pandapotan Marpaung, provided direct practice in making infographics with Canva media. So that the atmosphere was not too serious with the material, the committee held a quiz (slido.com) with prizes related to the material for the 2 best participants. In addition, the committee also gave appreciation to one participant who arrived on time.

Before the PSS activity was closed, the Head of BPS-Statistics of Sibolga, Sabar Alberto Harianja, presented prizes to the quiz winners and participants who arrived the most on time. Horas, Oiii Dusanak.
