BPS Sibolga Peduli Lingkungan “Tangga Seratus Bebas Sampah”

Starting the month of August, on Friday, August 2, 2024, BPS-Statistics of Sibolga held a BPS Sibolga Peduli, Clean Friday activity located at Tangga Seratus, Sibolga City. This activity was carried out as a form of implementation of the core value of ASN Proud to Serve the Nation. Before leaving, all BPS-Statistics of Sibolga employees attended a briefing on the clean Friday activity at the BPS-Statistics of Sibolga office field. The activity also began with a morning prayer together led by Sabar Alberto Harianja, Head of BPS-Statistics of Sibolga.

All employees walked from the BPS-Statistics of Sibolga Office to the Tangga Seratus Tourist Attraction while singing together. In this activity, employees were divided into two teams that would be equipped with plastic waste, separated between organic and plastic, and gloves. This Clean Friday activity began at the entrance area of Tangga Seratus, and continued up to the top. The waste collected amounted to 9 plastic bags, consisting of 4 plastic waste bags (around 24.5 kg) and 5 organic bags. The waste was delivered to the Parombunan Final Disposal Site (TPA) and handed over to the scavengers there. The event was then continued with breakfast, joint exercise, and the BPS Sibolga City employees' Happy Friday activities. Horas, Oii Dusanak.
