Abstract

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Sibolga Municipality will be 4.03 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.93.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 8.95 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.30 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.57 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 3.46 percent; health group 2.89 percent; transportation group at 0.44 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.18 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.67 percent; education group by 3.25 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.28 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.70 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate in April 2024 was 0.08 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Sibolga City in April 2024 was 2.37

percent.
