Coordination of Sectoral Statistics Development with Sibolga Communication and Information Service

On Thursday, February 22 2024, at 14.11 WIB, the Sibolga City Central Statistics Agency (BPS) coordinated with the Sibolga City Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo). Coordination in the context of Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) for Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Sibolga City Government in 2024. This meeting discussed plans and strategies for implementing OPD sectoral statistics development within the Sibolga City environment.

During his visit, the Head of BPS Sibolga City, Sabar Alberto Harianja, was accompanied by the Chair of PSS BPS Sibolga City, Rosmiana Hasibuan, PSS Team members Isnaini Zulhusna and Muhammad Alpian. On this occasion, Sibolga City BPS and the PSS Team were received directly by the Head of the Sibolga City Communications and Information Office, Sofyan Nasution, Secretary Hasonangan Panjaitan and Head of Statistics Rachmad Miranda. Some of the points discussed were the readiness of BPS in implementing sectoral statistical guidance for services and agencies in 2024, as well as the hope of achieving the Sibolga City Statistical Development Index (IPS) value into the 'good' category in 2024. IPS is a measure of the output and outcome of the level of success in implementing Sectoral Statistical Development . It was also announced that the 2024 Sibolga Book in Figures (SDA) will be published or released on February 28 2024. The 2024 SDA Book can be downloaded on the BPS Sibolga City website and the Allstat Application.

The Head of the Sibolga City Communications and Information Office is ready to facilitate and collaborate in developing sectoral statistics in the Sibolga City Government. In the framework of the PSS Evaluation, this year two OPDs were respondents, namely the Health Service and the Dukcapil Service. BPS Sibolga plans to carry out sectoral statistical guidance within the Sibolga City Government in the first week of March. Followed by gradual evaluation.

Coordination went smoothly which then ended with a joint photo session between the Sibolga City BPS and the Sibolga City Communications and Information Service.
