Audience and Coordination between the Head of BPS-Statistics of Sibolga and the Mayor of Sibolga.

Sibolga, October 7, 2024. Held in the office of the Mayor of Sibolga, the Head of BPS-Statistics of Sibolga, Dr. M. Iriansyah Harahap, SE, M.Si, along with his team, conducted an audience and coordination meeting as well as an introduction with the Mayor of Sibolga, H. Jamaluddin Pohan. Present at the meeting were the Secretary of the Sibolga City Government, Drs. Juneidi Tanjung, the Expert Staff for Economics, Finance, and Development, Drs. Rudolf Supratman Butar Butar, M.Pd, and the Acting Assistant for Development and General Administration, Haslan Efendi, S.Sos., M.M.

 

 

Dr. M. Iriansyah Harahap, SE, M.Si, introduced himself as the new Head of BPS-Statistics of Sibolga. During the meeting, he also presented information regarding the Socialization of Macro Economic Indicators of Sibolga City and the Inauguration of the Integrity Zone of the BPS-Statistics of Sibolga event, which will take place on October 10, 2024, and requested the Mayor's support for these event. This planned event is expected to support the development of the Integrity Zone and BPS-Statistics of Sibolga towards a Corruption-Free Area.

 

 

At the same time, various data related to the current economy of Sibolga City were discussed. Topics included the inflation developments in Sibolga, which has experienced deflation over the past three months, as well as the poverty rate in the city. The Mayor of Sibolga also shared his experiences regarding efforts made to improve the economy. From this meeting, it is hoped that the BPS-Statistics of Sibolga and the Sibolga City Government can achieve good synergy in planning and implementing activities and in realizing the development of the Integrity Zone of the BPS-Statistics of Sibolga.
