Abstract

In June 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sibolga City of 1.02 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.53.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by an increase in 8 expenditure group indices, namely: clothing and footwear group 0.19 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group 0.13 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group 0.26 percent; health group 0.91 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group 0.95 percent; education group 2.82 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group 4.79 percent; personal care and other services group 9.25 percent. Meanwhile, the 3 expenditure group indices that decreased were: food, beverage and tobacco group 0.59 percent; transportation group 0.12 percent; information, communication, and financial services group 0.73 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of Sibolga City in June 2025 was 0.28 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Sibolga City in June 2025 was 0.92 percent.
