Abstract

In June 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sibolga City will be 3.75 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.42.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.90 percent; clothing and footwear group at 2.54 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.58 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 3.26 percent; health group at 2.54 percent; transportation group at 0.68 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.26 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.76 percent; education group by 3.25 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.28 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.35 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for June 2024 is 0.12 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Sibolga City in June 2024 is 2.84 percent.
