Sibolga City BPS held the 2023 Sibolga City Sectoral Statistics Coordination and Guidance Meeting "Getting to Know Inflation Closer", at the Prima Indah Sibolga Hotel on November 30 2023.
This event was attended by Assistants for Administration, Development and General Affairs, Assistants for Government and People's Welfare, Representatives of Sibolga City Forkopimda elements, several Sibolga City Regional Government Leaders, Several Vertical Agency Leaders, Sibolga City BPS Employees, Academics and Sibolga City BPS Statistics Agents.
The event was opened by the Administrative, Development and General Assistant, Hendra Darmalius, A.Pi, M.M. who represented the Mayor of Sibolga, in his speech said that the Mayor of Sibolga expressed his gratitude to BPS Sibolga City for holding this Coordination Meeting considering the importance of cooperation from all parties in controlling inflation towards the end of the year.
There were 4 resource persons at this event, namely Sabar Alberto Harianja as Head of BPS Sibolga City, Yuda Rizki Agoes as Representative of Bank Indonesia Sibolga, Andres Leiman Silalahi as Head of KPPN Sibolga, and Walter Situmeang as Head of the BPS Sibolga City Distribution Statistics Team.
Each resource person delivered a presentation related to material in their field to socialize understanding of inflation. The event continued with a question and answer session and several participants asked questions enthusiastically. One of them was academics and representatives of the RRI community who appreciated this meeting and hoped that data and information related to economic developments and policies could be utilized in the campus/high school environment.
