DEVELOPMENT OF THE CINTA STATISTICAL (BEAUTIFUL) VILLAGE IN PANCURAN KERAMBIL DISTRICT, SIBOLGA CITY

Tuesday (10/10/23) at the Sibolga Sambas Subdistrict Office, Sibolga City, the 2023 Sibolga City Beautiful Village Development activity was carried out for the Pancuran Kerambil Village. The Beautiful Village/Subdistrict Program is one of BPS's quick wins in providing sectoral statistical development and increasing statistical literacy at the village/subdistrict level.

 

 

                    Head of Sibolga City BPS, Sabar Alberto Harianja, in his speech conveyed the importance of Kelurahan Cantik 2023 to provide literacy to subdistrict officials (heads, secretaries, officers and heads of neighborhoods) in understanding statistical data and indicators, helping subdistricts identify the use of statistical data for development programs and providing guidance on managing sub-district data. The 2023 Cantik Village Program also provides special guidance regarding the literacy of Regsosek data and its use at the village/subdistrict level.

 

 

                    Present as a resource person was the Head of Sibolga Sambas Subdistrict, Romatua Hasonangan Panjaitan, SH, who explained the role of Sibolga Sambas Subdistrict in supporting the Love Statistics Subdistrict program in Pancuran Kerambil Subdistrict. Apart from that, Sibolga City BPS employees also delivered material related to explanations of beautiful sub-districts and explanations of Regsosek variables by Walter Situmeang, S.Sos as well as material on sub-district level data and statistics by Naomi Sinaga, S.Si. The coaching activity was attended by 15 participants, namely the sub-district head, village head, 4 environmental heads, 4 sub-district officials and 5 participants from BPS Sibolga City.

 

 

                    The hope is that through the 2023 Love Statistics Subdistrict Program, the statistical data managed by subdistrict officials will be of higher quality so that more targeted subdistrict development programs can be produced.
